I have been writing about and photographing the world for 40 years. My base of operations in the United States is Denver, Colorado.

Over the years, I have contributed travel articles and photos to a variety of publications, including Sailing, Northwest Living, Golf Course Management and 5280 magazines, and newspapers including The Arizona Republic, The Denver Post, The Grand Rapids Press, The Minneapolis Star-Tribune, The Colorado Springs Sun and The Mankato Free Press. I have been a member of The North American Snowsports Journalists Association for 15 years and the organization's webmaster and newsletter editor for 5 years.
